CRC Teams Up for “Touchdown for Trojans” Benefitting USC Scholarships and Veterans

California Resources Corporation (CRC) recently joined forces with local labor organizations, including the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 11 (IBEW), the National Electric Contractors Association of L.A. County (NECA), the Southern California Pipe Trades Administrative Cooperation (SCPTAC), and the California Plumbing & Mechanical Contractors Association (CPMCA), to support USC athlete scholarships and student Veterans with “Touchdown for Trojans.”

Featured at USC football games, “Touchdown for Trojans” awarded $50 for each USC football point scored at home games this past season to both the USC Student Athlete Scholarship Fund and the USC Veterans Fund. Raising a total of $15,650 for these two worthy causes, CRC employee veterans, along with building trade representatives, presented the donation to USC Senior Associate Athletic Director Steve Lopes and USC MBA for Veteran students at the USC vs. Stanford basketball game earlier this year.

CRC’s partnership with the State Building & Construction Trades Council of California helps ensure that our future includes a safe and highly qualified workforce, while providing support to veterans in recognition for their service to our country and as valued members of CRC’s workforce. Along with our building trades partners, CRC proudly salutes America’s heroes in the U.S. Armed Forces, and we applaud the brave men and women who work together to build thriving communities in Los Angeles and throughout California.
