LA Dodgers and CRC Help Kids Hit a Home Run at RBI PlayerFest
Decked out in Dodgers blue, California Resources Corporation (CRC) employees recently attended the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation’s 6th Annual Dodgers RBI PlayerFest, where thousands of young fans from lower-income neighborhoods got to participate in baseball drills, including batting, fielding and running the bases at Dodgers Stadium.
In addition to the baseball activities, the kids and their families were able to learn and explore hundreds of community booths at the event, including CRC’s, where employees taught the kids about exciting careers in energy and handed out fun giveaways.
Dodgers RBI is designed to give young people from underserved and diverse communities the opportunity to play baseball and softball with special emphasis on education, recreation and healthy habits. Participating in team sports gives kids skills that help them succeed on and off the field. Go Dodgers!
