CRC Salutes Centro CHA, Inc.
While the COVID-19 pandemic has kept so many Californians home and stretched finances, non-profit organizations have quickly adapted to safely provide essential services to meet the needs of our communities. This month we are highlighting Centro CHA, Inc., a non-profit Hispanic/Latino human and social service agency in Long Beach. The organization has been dedicated to serving heir clients during COVID-19, knowing that many would be particularly vulnerable to financial devastation resulting from the pandemic. Centro CHA was able to distribute over $45,000 in emergency family rapid relief assistance to 900 immigrant working families over a 2-month period. These funds helped families with food, rental assistance and access to small business relief and other government programs. Thank you Centro CHA, Inc., for being a California Resource!
