CRC Inducted into 2019 San Fernando Valley Business Hall of Fame
On June 20th, California Resources Corporation (CRC) had the honor of being inducted into the 2019 San Fernando Valley Business Hall of Fame hosted by premier trade association Valley Industry & Commerce Association (VICA).
It has been VICA’s tradition to induct local businesses and community leaders in the Business Hall of Fame to show recognition and appreciation for their impactful contributions. CRC was one of seven honorees recognized this year for contributing to the continued success, economic vitality and culture of the San Fernando Valley.
Margita Thompson, CRC’s Vice President of Public Affairs, accepted the award on behalf of the company. “As a Valley resident myself, I am honored to be part of an organization that is being recognized for their commitment to helping California’s diverse working families thrive,” she said in her remarks. “CRC’s vision for the San Fernando Valley is one where residents can achieve upward economic mobility through balanced energy policies, local entrepreneurship, access to affordable housing, and a shared prosperity that should be every Californian’s right.”
CRC is a proud member of VICA and we share their goals of enhancing the economic vitality of the greater San Fernando Valley and greater Los Angeles region by advocating for a better business climate and quality of life.
